We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Supervisor to join our team in Fayetteville, TN.

The Quality Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in inspecting and testing assembled motor vehicles, components, and parts, as vehicles and sub-assemblies proceed through stages of assembly process, applying knowledge of quality assurance standards and procedures: Reviews quality assurance instructions, assembly specifications, and production schedules to determine method of conducting inspections and tests, sequence of operations, and work assignments. Directs workers in quality assurance inspection and testing, to assure that Internal and Customer Specifications are met.

Quality Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Daily Routines
  • Review of product/process issues throughout the previous day and current this includes: Review of System Assurance startup/In process check sheets, Review any new Quality Alerts and or deviations, Review of scrap and work center reports of previous day in order to prepare for DOS
  • Train, schedule training for QA auditors on Procedures, work instructions and Quality Documentation.
  • Provide inspection tools needed by auditors and track and order supplies or maintenance needed for QA
  • Review and Communicate Quality Reports/Information
  • Generate cost analysis for containment
  • Manage Sorting activities and cost
  • Issue/Track all 8-D’s (non-conforming Database)
  • Write/distribute Nonconforming Product Notices (as needed) Maintain all gauges and calibrations as well as calibration schedules
  • Maintain all Target and Attribute Charts and X&R Charts and Gage R&R studies
  • Review/troubleshoot SPC data
  • Review troubleshoot process/product problems
  • Maintain and review all Lab Testing
  • Give disposition on suspect product and track escaped suspect product at other plants
  • Send samples to other operations/plants Monitor Line accumulations
  • Maintain and track Process Books, Deviation log, Alert notice log, Document update log
  • Edit process and quality documentation as needed Familiar with Customer Portals

Quality Supervisor Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Plastics experience preferred
  • Injection Molded-in Color Experience
