Production Operator

Toledo Molding & Die Inc. is now hiring full-time production operators at its Fayetteville, TN facility.

•$12.30/hour to start.

•Positions available on 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd (11pm-7am) shifts.

Engineering Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering manager to join our team.

The Engineering Manager will take the lead in engineering activities in the area of injection and secondary equipment, in order to obtain optimum productivity and quality levels while complying with customer specifications.

Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

The Engineering Manager is responsible for the overall development and administration of the Engineering Process. The primary responsibilities will be to establish and review process controls, emphasize continuous improvement and improve productivity through waste reduction. In addition, the Engineering Manager will be responsible for achieving product target cost, improved efficiency, identifying possible production problems for existing products.

As a part of the plant leadership team, the Engineering Manager will be involved, process flows, labor and machine standards. All proposed plans for changes to the process, equipment, molds, and tooling are to be reviewed by the Engineering Manager to ensure reliability and compatibility with existing Toledo Molding and Die standards/systems.

Finally, Manager will be required to support multiple projects and work with the plant to maintain third part registration to ISO/IATF standards.

Prototype Technician

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced prototype technician to work in a tool and die atmosphere. This will be a 1st shift position starting at 7:00am and available to work overtime as required.

  • Injection molding processing

Production Supervisor

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in Jefferson, OH.

The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of associates.

Responsibilities:

  • Computes amount of stock and supplies required for operations based on production schedules and obtains through internal requisition procedures.
  • Interprets production schedules and assigns appropriately trained associates to each specific activity.
  • Interfaces with Scheduling, Quality and Shipping to ensure customer deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Ensures product is manufactured to specifications.

Quality Manager

The Quality Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for the overall development and administration of Quality resources within the plant. Through input from customer, supplier, Division, and plant staff, the Quality Manager will allocate manpower resources to project teams and programs.

The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing and reviewing process controls, emphasizing customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and waste reduction. Measurement systems and inspection techniques are to be developed and maintained to advance Quality Department goals and objectives in support of plant goals and objectives.

Quality Manager Responsibilities:

  • Establish and track Quality department goals and objectives
  • Determine Quality department standards, practices, and procedures
  • Establish and maintain product Quality Standards
  • Track external customer Quality issues, e.g. concerns, rejections, PPM, and 8D problem solving
  • Track internal customer Quality issues, e.g. Rejection Tags and Process Alerts
  • Track supplier Quality issues and performance

Production Superintendent

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Superintendent to join our team at our plant in Beloit, WI.

This position is responsible for manufacturing functions related to assigned current products and new products. Position reports directly to the Production Manager.

The primary responsibilities will be to work with direct reports to establish individual employee goals, departmental objectives and key operating objectives, set department procedures and policies, ensure appropriate resources are allocated to projects and maintain daily production.

Production Superintendent Job Functions:

  • Support and enforce plant safety rules and Toledo Molding & Die policies and procedures consistently.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Production Supervisors and Technicians.
  • Determine departmental procedures and policies.
  • Establish and track Production Department objectives.
  • As a business leader, support root cause analysis and proper resolution to conflict.
  • On a weekly and monthly basis be able to report in review meetings manufacturing results with supportive details and corrective action plans outlined.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports and to make salary increase recommendations. Identify high potential candidates for promotion and determine development plans to achieve.

Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for their assigned manufacturing processes and new product launch project management. Through input from the customer, corporate support groups, plant staff, and production employees the Manufacturing Engineer will review process controls, emphasize continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing methodology and Kaizen activities, participate in the development of cell layouts, set up reduction (SMED), lead time reduction and improve productivity through waste reduction. In addition the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for achieving product target cost, improved efficiency and identifying possible production problems for existing products within their scope of accountability.

The Manufacturing Engineer will be involved with helping to determine project capital needs, launch strategies, project timing, process flows, labor and machine standards as well as proposed plans for changes to the process, equipment, molds, and tooling to ensure reliability and compatibility with existing Toledo Molding and Die standards/systems.

Sales Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team.

Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Lead for current production business – Account maintenance:
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Document all transactions with purchasing
  • Complete formal RFQ’s as required
  • Maintain the Business Release System (BRS – Visual Basic Database) on an ongoing basis
  • Insure purchase orders are received by required deadlines (Piece price and Tooling)
  • Resolve open commercial issues in a timely manner
  • Support customer cost reduction processes
  • Assist program manager with change control process
  • Coordinate quote activity for new business opportunities, including:
  • Build customer relationships that trigger RFQ generation
  • BRS inputs, including end items, programs, part numbers, contact information, take rates, ship locations, launch and balance out dates, etc
  • Provide first line part feasibility review with customer. Involve manufacturing as required.
  • Pre-quote review meeting to establish quoting parameters
